Guests have found Huia Lodge to be an ideal base to explore the whole Coromandel Peninsula.  We have two units - Upstairs - one large room has queen and single bed and ensuite.  Downstairs - one single room plus double (queen) room with ensuite.  Both units have tea/coffee facilities.  Stay with us and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Kauaeranga Valley, just 10 minutes from Thames.  We grow our own fruit and vegetables and enjoy the rural lifestyle.   You will be free to relax in your unit or enjoy our 3½ acre idyllic retreat of pasture and bush.  We'll be happy to suggest outings such as local attractions in Thames, a gentle native bush walk in the nearby Forest Park or a more energetic hike to the spectacular Pinnacles - 2500 ft
